Man you guys give up early it is a 2 score game with 20 mins left

Yeah, because through the first half and 1/2 of the 3rd quarter, our offense has gotten 3 points on the board.........if that don't give you confidence nothing will. [laughing]

7-3 is not a bad score on the road vs. the #8 team, considering the Special Teams play

You stand corrected. 17-3. Dadgummit, I am still hoping the Mountaineers get mad and stage a dadgum comeback. OK, I'm gonna just gord head and say it. WV will comeback! Warez

A two score game today feels like a 2-0 game in soccer. Reaching the endzone feels that daunting.

So, the best play we could draw up was to send a WR in motion, basically eliminating that WR as a threat, knowing that TCU would drop 7 defenders in coverage........yeah, SMART!

This team just doesn't have "it". Typical WVU team that can't play both sides of the ball against good opponents, the well below average special teams is just icing on this **** sandwich.

The call against Sills V was absolutely what I call 'home cooking' on the refs part. To bad games have to have this type of dirt. Warez

Think about this, TCU had 3-4 PI's called against them that Patterson and his staff no doubt were bitching about to the ref on their sideline........and that ref got the opportunity to screw us and suck off Patterson, and he did.

I am blown away that anyone could feel this way about a game. We should have won this game. Mistakes and poor officiating, no where close to our best effort. But if it makes you feel better go for it

Yeah, you gotta love the consistency from a DH team...can't beat a ranked team two thirds of the time...consistent break downs on special teams. With DH we lead the world in "wait until next year thinking." Tired of moral f....ing victories...that's loser thinking.

The trends continue.

WVU under Holgorsen has lost 9 consecutive games against ranked opponents.

WVU under Holgorsen hasn't beaten a ranked opponent on the road since 2012. Hasn't beaten a ranked team anywhere in 3 years.

WVU under Holgorsen is 5-16 against ranked teams.

After 7 years, it's very obvious that DH cannot move this program forward. It has plateaued under his watch and can only going down from here. There is nothing to suggest that he is the guy to get WVU football to the next level.

Ask yourself this: If you were as bad as your job as DH is at his, would you be able to keep your job? And DH is being paid of helluva lot more $$$ than you're making. So why should WVU keep this guy? Keeping the status quo means staying mediocre and eventually sliding to the ranks of the irrelevants.

Can anybody say, with any kind of confidence, that DH is the guy to lead this program to a Big XII championship and beyond? If you can,. then I'll have one of what you're drinking or smoking.

Not one thing has changed since June of 2011 when Dana took over. WVU has been in a Ground Hog Day progression loop for seven years and there is no end in sight. In what is seemingly a very down year - again - for the Big-12, WVU is going to limp into a 4th or 5th place among a conferences of turds. No one in the Big 12 is any good and VT is nothing more than the Cupcake Queen it has been for more than a decade.

I eagerly look forward to the day we have an AD that has blue and gold blood and fires this second rate coach.

The simple fact that Vernon lets douchebags like you stay around is why I refuse to buy a membership.

Honestly not opposed to DH being fired, I get that we could totally botch the next hire and go into the abyss, but the abyss isn't as bad as being cock teased by being a lock for the 2nd tier of the conference year after year.

I have to disagree on one point. I think this is WVU's best effort. WVU has sucked since that odd game against Pitt when Rich was playing footsies under the table with Michigan. Bill Stewart was Second Rate, Dana Holgorsen is Second Rate and in the end WVU has left 10 seasons on a steaming pile of mediocrity because we drop a dollar to save a dime and hire someone unworthy of the job because he comes cheap who is a good guy.

I never felt this bad in the Don or Rich years, not even at their worst because they both gave us something to be proud of and for the last ten years, the proudness factor of WVUs teams has been thin at best.

He just had a 10 win season.

IMO, he's here next year. Has a good QB to work with.

I think he stays. Does one more year with Grier and takes an offer.
