Personally no. Does it really matter? No.
I wish we’d do a 3rd color in our scheme. I really liked the grey with maroon.
State is 3-2 wearing gold, in some form or fashion. The two loses came in Oxford.
I don’t mind it necessarily, but if you’re going to wear gold for this game, you better not lose.

No. Special uniform items for the Egg Bowl is not the thing to do. Seems like every time we pull that stunt we wind up losing.
I agree with one exception. I thought the maroon uni’s with gold numbers (maybe 2011? I just remember it was misting rain the whole game) were great. But on the whole, I’m in the “no special uniforms” camp.
I’m all for it It’ll give us a legit cause to blame the upcoming loss on. It’s really getting old blaming losses on piss poor coaching, inferior talent, a man who’s been dead for two years, the three stooges of college administration, cheap fans, or overly convenient squirrels. It’ll be a breath of fresh air.

I'm indifferent about adding gold in general. I dnk why you'd bother this year.... we are going to get embarrassed. But ....

I think it's a great idea. People watching on TV will have no way of identifying that it's Mississippi State getting beaten by 50
2 colors we should NEVER wear, gold or black. But knowing 17n Adidas that's what they'll do. Bunch of skinny polyester golf pants wearing 3 stripe limp wrist euro tea sipping pricks (not that there's anything wrong with that)
Like the all black Sunday baseball uniforms had to go when the sports gods deemed you will always lose in them, the script State football helmet needs to be retired after this season.

Pretty much anything on a white helmet looks worse than it would on a maroon helmet. Gold lettering especially.
