meanwhile, tomorrow I'll be casting my votes here in central virginia.
In the gubernatorial race, I might have once voted for Spanberger, as I do tend to think that she's a serious person, but good lord she is so banal as to make me question whether she has any business running for an executive position. Beyond that, she has been protected by her party so much over the years that I'm a little frightened to think of just how beholden she will be to them.
I don't really know what the Lieutenant Governor even does in VA, so I'll probably vote my party. (Also, I can pronounce both of my party's candidate's names, which is a plus even if he is gay and a little too libertarian for my taste)
In the race, only one candidate actually understands the job description for an AG, and it sure as hell is not Jay Jones. I'm not a huge Miyares fan, but as best I can tell, Jones is just the devil and will empower some of the local Soros CA's, like Parisa *******-******* in Arlington.
Also, fun fact, in my local delegate race, there is a candidate running named Andrew Hartless, who is using the slogan "for a kinder Virginia." Who knew that irony can be not only cruel, but also downright hartless."
For sheriff, even though I don't technically know what the job entails relative to the police, I'll vote for the guy who actually took the time to visit my house.
