Controversial as all hell but the message is working. Bernie became very popular under the same messaging. And when the wealth gap widens even more like it has, it’s only going to resonate with more people.

I’ve made my thoughts clear that tax loopholes need to be closed. Those in the 50-99%tile pay too much in taxes because the 1% is under taxed, which leads to inequality.

But I think affordability is best left to the market. Enable developers to build as easily as possible so you can increase supply. But also people will opt out of high priced cities at a certain point. And companies will love jobs out of high priced cities at a certain point since they will be able to pay less for the same job.

Generally agree here, but the 1% is not under taxed. The argument is better stated that the top 0.001% are undertaxed.

AI says that $650k a year puts you in the top 1%

and

If you make $10mm a year you are in the .01%

I can’t access poly market, but I’d throw a small bit for those odds.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see what happens if he wins. The people of NYC have to live with their decision so more power to them. If that’s what they want then so be it. Good luck to them, I genuinely hope it works out well for them although I have my doubts.

Turns out, they knew shlt

This will not end well.

One last thing about Mamdani and socialism:

Of course his policies will eventually fail, everybody knows that.

But the moves he’ll make while he HAS THAT POWER is what New Yorkers should be worried about.

Because NY WILL BECOME LONDON.

NY WILL BECOME PARIS.

NY WILL BECOME BERLIN.

He’ll gut police budgets, skyrocketing CRIME AND STABBINGS.

He’ll empower Muslims over everyone else—halal mandates in schools, prayer calls blasting from City Hall, Sharia “consultants” on zoning boards.

He’ll hand public housing keys to NGOs who will bus in MORE MUSLIM ILLEGALS.

He’ll prioritize mosque expansions while churches get taxed into oblivion.

He’ll let CAIR dictate “hate crime” definitions that only protect one faith.

He will follow THE MUSLIM TAKEOVER HANDBOOK TO THE LETTER.

And NY Democrats dont care about ANY of that:

THEY JUST WANNA WIN.

They just wanna KEEP REPUBLICANS OUT.

Look guys, London didn’t fall in a day.

It took strategically placed politicians to make that happen.

Mamdani is just the latest of those.

How long will it take for New Yorkers to REGRET voting for him?

Grocery stores that don’t have to pay taxes or rent! It’s just free!

Someone explain opportunity cost to Zophran. There is no such thing as free.

He misunderstands just as he misread the website where he thought the funding was. Grade A moron.

Didn't Trump force Intel to give the government a stake in Intel? Should he be called a Communist, too?

Buildings that don’t pay taxes? Like churches?

Tell us what you meant then.
I'm saying that Mamdani is much more popular with young adults than Donald Trump and their lives are hard enough right now with the high cost of living and the difficulty of finding jobs after they graduate, so if he makes their lives even harder by defunding the city, he's just going to drive them harder left and into Mamdani's camp for the rest of his term. The vengeful moron has already defunded the badly needed Gateway project so he better start showing that he cares about the people that overwhelmingly voted for Mamdani or risk losing the youth vote long-term.

Hopefully the youth are working for a living and not waiting for handouts. Trump has not and will not win NY city anyway. Mamdami promised and now he must deliver.

I'm pretty sure they are but if he withheld the full 7 billion in federal funds, it would have a wide ranging impact on all residents, including young adults. Just be aware that he's not just popular in the city , he's becoming a populist phenomenon nationwide because young people feel like he speaks for them and he offers a stark contrast to DJT so not sure I'd want to piss off his base. You may not understand the draw but Gen Z does.

Mamdani's youth support goes beyond New York. For many, he's now a national leader

Here’s what happens in coming years to NYC:

• HUGE $ and businesses will leave NYC
• Cops will retire in record numbers
• Welfare for illegals + trans surgeries ⬆️
• Homelessness ⬆️
• Cost of living ⬆️
• Crime ⬆️
• Taxes ⬆️
• Tourism ⬇️
• Landlords will flee
• Property values ⬇️⬇️⬇️
• Financial fraud by officials ⬆️⬆️⬆️
• School indoctrination ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
• City debt ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
• Miami/Dallas will become big finance hubs and make a lot of money because NYC is stupid

Eventually they’ll run out of money and Commie Mamdani will blame capitalists for his failure.

Good analysis.

We’ve seen this playbook before.

The real losers last night weren’t the republicans.

The real losers were Newsom and Pritzker.

Both governors have been competing against each other.
Both governors have also been trying their hardest to pick fights with Trump, in order to gain attention.

But now they are going to have to compete with Mamdani for attention, even within their own party.

And guess what?

Trump is going to do the same thing that he did back in the democrat primaries in 2020.

Trump ignored all the other democrat candidates and “elevated” Biden, by publicly picking fights with him, to force the media to cover their dispute.

It sucked all the media attention away from the rest of the democrats in the race.
The entire media focus was on the public fight between Trump and Biden.
That actually helped Biden get the nomination.

And now Trump is going to publicly fight with Mamdani. He’s going to force Mamdani to be the face of the democrat party. It will force the entire democrat party to move even more radically left.

Trump is going to elevate Mamdani and then put a microscope on his failures.
Then he’s going to play pin the tail on the donkey.

Every Mamdani failure is going to be pinned on democrat candidates around the country.

And don’t forget this.

Election fraud is still yet to be exposed in the courts.

It’s coming.

So much is going to change before the midterms.

Things are accelerating.
Grab the popcorn!🍿

Trump should prioritize daily heavy ICE operations in NY city immediately imo.

This right here:

IS THE SINGLE GREATEST CRIME EVER PERPETRATED AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE:

Democrats have shut down the government because they want Medicaid for their invasion.

Here is Carlos Arrellano, the administrator of the largest hotel in New York City — the ROW NYC:

• Housing almost 5,000 illegal aliens
• 10- to 14-year-old kids getting drunk
• Trashed hotel rooms
•Guns, violence, and theft from local stores.

And a maternity award,

That’s:
• $950,000 a day
• $6,650,000 a week
• $26,600,000 a month
• $319,200,000 a year

Between the ROW and the Roosevelt Hotel, it has cost the American taxpayer about $7.7 billion over three years to house the invasion under the Biden–Harris administration — just in New York, in these two hotels.

Border Czar Tom Homan: “No one ever talks about it. I’ll talk about it.”

“Why did they release people into the interior United States rather than put them into an ICE bed? Why not put them in an empty ICE bed — $127 a night — rather than a hotel at $500 a night?

The Biden administration did it on purpose. If you put them in an ICE detention bed, they get a hearing in 35 days.”

In other words: you’ve been Robbed. Blackmailed. Extorted and Deceived.

Meaning: they despise the American taxpayer.
