West Point (Miss.) four-star running back Kahnen Daniels took over his game on Friday night with a rushing performance for the ages.

In a game against Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County, Daniels carried the ball 38 times for a total of 427 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.

The incredible performance led to a 50-40 win for West Point, in which Daniels scored every touchdown.

Daniels part of loaded Florida class

Daniels committed to Florida back in April over teams like Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State.

“We all had that same feeling,” Daniels told On3. “I knew after the first visit how I felt. I had let coach Jabbar Juluke know. After my family saw was I saw, felt the great hospitality and met the coaches, they gave me the go.

“I met with coach Juluke before we left and told him about my decision. On Sunday, I talked to coach Napier and told him too. Florida is the best school for me and I am excited about my decision.”

He also told On3 that it was Florida all the way — there was no No. 2 school.

“Florida was different. I can’t really say who I picked them over. When I visited Florida the first time, I felt something different. Everything changed on that visit. Now I am committed.”

Daniels is the nation’s No. 315 overall prospect and No. 26 running back in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 10 player in Mississippi.

On3 rates Daniels higher than other major recruiting services. He is ranked No. 279 in the 2024 On300 and is the No. 22 running back in the class.

Daniels currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $61,000. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
