2023 wideout Wesley Watson decommits from Colorado

College Station (Texas) A&M Consolidated 2023 receiver A&M Wesley Watson has decommitted from Colorado, he announced on Monday.
Watson, also a one-time SMU commit, pledged to the Buffaloes back in June. However, after the firing of head coach Karl Dorrell and uncertainty around the program’s next coaching staff, Watson has reopened his recruitment.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is also fresh off a visit to Kansas State over the weekend, where he watched the Wildcats easily dispatch Oklahoma State 48-0 in Manhattan.
“The visit was awesome,” Watson told On3’s K-State Online. “The game-day environment was crazy. I felt the family atmosphere from the moment I stepped on campus. The stadium was awesome, the fans are so bought in to the program and you can really feel that football is a big thing in the town of Manhattan.”
