Ollie Gordon has NSFW chant about Texas prior to Big 12 Championship
Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon had some choice words about Texas prior to the Big 12 Championship Game.
At the half, Gordon had 10 carries for 28 yards and had three catches for 36 yards. Oklahoma State trailed 35-14 going into the locker room.
Safe to say, that type of trash talk did not work pregame. The NFSW video can be seen below.
Well, it didn’t quite pan out for the talented running back in the first 30 minutes. The Cowboys, luckily, forced Texas into some mistakes, otherwise the score could’ve been worse.
Gordon actually went down with an injury on Oklahoma State’s first drive of the third quarter and was tended to on the ground. However, once he returned to the sideline, he immediately got off the bench and appeared fine.
Gordon appeared to have an issue with his right shin, according to ESPN’s Molly McGrath, who reported the injury on the broadcast.

Coming into the Big 12 title game, Gordon had 245 carries, 1,580 yards, 20 touchdowns, 6.4 yards per carry, 33 catches, 272 receiving yards and one touchdown reception.
As a member of the Class of 2022, Gordon was a four-star recruit out of Euless (Texas) Trinity, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 35 overall prospect in the state, the No. 15 running back in the class and the No. 219 overall prospect in the class.
Coming into the game, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian praised Gordon’s abilities.
“I love Ollie Gordon,” Sarkisian said. “I love the way that he plays. He’s a big, physical back, and they utilize him out of the pistol and he runs downhill. But, the thing that he also has is big playability. When he gets in the open field, he can take it the distance.”
Despite Gordon’s outlandish statistics, he had a chip on his shoulder for the Big 12 Championship. Gordon only rushed for 13 yards on four carries against Texas last season.
