Seton Hall transfer guard Isaiah Coleman commits to Oklahoma State

Former Seton Hall guard Isaiah Coleman has committed to Oklahoma State, via the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Jamie Shaw. He initially entered the portal on March 25.
Coleman spent two seasons with the Pirates. He made 30 appearances and 29 starts for Seton Hall this season. The 6-foot-5 sophomore averaged 15.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 33.7 minutes per game while shooting 38.9% from the field and 29.5% from beyond the arc.
Coleman arguably had his best performance of the season in Seton Hall’s 76-59 loss to Marquette on Jan. 21. In the loss, Coleman was nearly responsibly for half of the Pirates’ points, tallying 27 points and nine rebounds on 9-14 shooting.
Coleman was also excellent in Seton Hall’s season-ending loss to Villanova in the first round of the Big East Tournament. Coleman notched a team-high 25 points against the Wildcats while shooting 10-20 from the floor.
Coleman made 33 appearances and three starts in his true freshman season but wasn’t nearly as dominant. He only averaged 5.4 points in 18.2 minutes per game.
Isaiah Coleman played high school basketball at Word of God Christian Academy (VA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 110 overall player and No. 27 small forward in the 2023 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Coleman was the No. 59 player and No. 14 shooting guard in the transfer portal this offseason, according to On3’s Transfer Portal Player Rankings. Now, he’ll look to excel at Oklahoma State.
