The Oregon Ducks are riding high off their 81-7 beatdown of the Portland State Vikings in Week 1. And now, in Week 2, it’s time to face some actual competition. The Ducks will take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders this weekend and on Wednesday evening, they unveiled their uniform combination for their next game.

Check those out below.

The uniforms are their white and green look with the chrome helmets. Oregon has a near endless combination of uniforms. This is a pretty sharp look for Week 2. The chrome helmets have the traditional wings, and the gloves and wrist bands are white and green as well.

A good Twitter account to follow a number of the different uniforms across college football is UNISWAG. Check out more of the ‘Ducks pictures of their uniforms here.

The Ducks rolled up an absurd amount of yardage against Portland State. After the smoke had cleared, Oregon had piled up 348 rushing yards. Bucky Irving had four carries for 119 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Jordan James had 10 carries for 86 yards and three touchdowns. Bo Nix looked like the same player that many were touting as a Heisman Trophy candidate coming into the 2023 campaign. He completed 23 of 27 passes for 287 passing yards, while tossing three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Backup Oregon quarterback Ty Thompson played well, completing seven of eight passes for 79 passing yards, while tossing one touchdown and no interceptions. He also ran for 27 rushing yards on three carries.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders have former Oregon quarterback Tyler Shough under center. Texas Tech suffered a heartbreaking loss last week to the Wyoming Cowboys. The Red Raiders fell 35-33 in a double overtime classic in Week 1. Shough threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns in that one. Andrew Peasley completed an 11-yard touchdown pass to his tight end John Michael Gyllenborg on a fourth-and-seven. Then the Cowboys punched in the two-point conversion and running back Sam Scott lifted them to victory.

Oregon is once again expected to compete for the Pac-12 title. Their matchup with the Colorado Buffaloes on Sept. 23 will be one to circle. And their October 14th showdown with the Washington Huskies should be yet another classic, much like last year’s version.

Oregon and Texas Tech are set to kick off on Saturday, Sept. 9. Game time is slated for 7:00 PM EST from Lubbock, Texas. The game will be nationally televised on FOX.
