Texas A&M lands RHP from portal
Ethan Darden isn’t the only pitcher Texas A&M has added via the transfer portal. FAU right-handed pitcher Michael Bollinger Jr. was an all-conference pitcher in his lone year with the program this spring. Now, a few days after entering his name into the transfer portal, he has committed to a new program in the SEC.
MJ Bollinger has committed to Texas A&M from the NCAA transfer portal. He announced that commitment to the Aggies on social media.
Bollinger appeared in 28 games with 44.2 innings pitched this season for Florida Atlantic, posting a 2.01 ERA with 39 strikeouts as batters posted a .230 average against him. He also had 11 saves. All that earned him recognition this season on the All-AAC Second Team.
That’s after starting his collegiate career at San Jacinto JC, meaning this is a return for him to the Lone Star State. Bollinger appeared in 17 games, with 33 innings pitched, where he posted an ERA of 1.36 with 28 strikeouts for the Ravens.
