LOOK: 2024 5-star WR Jeremiah Smith has USC sticker on helmet

Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep five-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is one of the top wide receivers in the country. He continued to demonstrate his interest in USC with a social media post on Sunday.
Smith shared a photograph of him in uniform, with a USC sticker attached to his helmet. He is the No. 2 overall prospect and No. 1 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound wideout is also the No. 1 player in Florida.
On Sept. 25, Smith told On3’s Chad Simmons that the Trojans were one of the programs standing out to him. He took an unofficial visit to Los Angeles on March 11.

“It’s big for me because I want to see teams who have a balanced offense, that can run and throw the ball,” Smith told Simmons about watching schools this fall. “Not just only about passing the ball, but we have a running back in the backfield who could be able to run the ball too, that could help us step right out. I want to go a school that (has) a balanced offense.”

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Ohio State has a commanding lead for his commitment at 95.7%. He has visited the Buckeyes four times, most recently on Sept. 3.
Smith has an On3 NIL Valuation of $176K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Jeremiah Smith On3 Scouting Summary
The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Jeremiah Smith:
“Big, skilled receiver with fluidity and savvy for the position. Measured in at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds prior to his junior season. Had a breakout 2021 season, helping his Chaminade-Madonna team to a state championship. Turned in several strong performances, including a big state title game. Polished route-runner at this early stage.
“Smooth mover with some technical refinement that allows for separation. Shows good ball skills with his ability to track the football over his shoulder. Does not register as a top athlete in the combine setting at this stage. Can further take advantage of his size by continuing to improve his contested catch skills.”
