On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: USC trending for WR Xavier Jordan

Los Angeles (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star wide receiver Xavier Jordan is one USC’s top recruiting targets in the 2024 cycle and has been since they offered him in January.
The 6-foot, 160-pounder was on campus in late January when he received the offer and was back earlier this month for another unofficial visit. A little over a week ago, he told WeAreSC’s Scott Schrader that he had locked in an official visit with the Trojans in June.
After updated predictions from around the recruiting industry — which follow an expert pick for the Trojans from On3’s Sam Spiegelman last month — USC is trending heavily to land Jordan, one of the top wideouts in California.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the Trojans have a 97.6 percent chance of securing his commitment.
Three schools set to receive official visits
“USC is on me every day,” Jordan told On3’s Chad Simmons last month. “Lincoln Riley and Dennis Simmons stay in contact. It is close to home and they really want me to visit, so it should happen soon. Coach Riley feels I am one of the best receivers in the country.”
Between then and now, he visited the Trojans campus, which is less than an hour from his high school. He told Simmons that he plans to take official visits to USC, Oklahoma and Washington at this point.
“They make me feel comfortable,” Jordan said of the Trojans. “When I get there, it’s not a surprise. We’re talking, we know each other. We know each other’s personalities. I know their philosophies. They know my philosophy. It’s like a family already.”

Even though Ohio State does not currently have an official visit from Jordan locked in, he is feeling good about the Buckeyes. Head coach Ryan Day extended an offer to the four-star.
“Coach (Brian) Hartline just develops players; he is one of the best,” Jordan previously told On3. “…Ohio State is one of the best programs in the country and they keep top receivers there.”
