TreVeyon Henderson was the No. 1 running back in the 2021 recruiting class and a On3 Consensus five-star recruit. He was a wide receiver and defensive back at Hopewell (Va.) High as a freshman and sophomore. He became a superstar running back as a junior, rushing for 2,424 yards and 45 touchdowns and winning 2019 Gatorade Virginia Player of the Year. Henderson did not play a senior season due to the COVID pandemic. The Virginia high school football season was pushed to the spring and Henderson was an early enrollee at Ohio State. Henderson is the son of Lakeesha Hayes and Trenton Henderson. He has an older borher, Ronnie Walker Jr., and younger brother, Kesean Henderson. Walker played for Indiana from 2018-2019 before transferring to Virginia, where he is a backup running back. Kesean Henderson is a 2024 recruit with offers from Maryland, Pitt, Virginia and Virginia Tech. He is majoring in finance at Ohio State.
