We’re six weeks into the season and things are changing rapidly. Here are On3’s ACC women’s basketball power rankings.

1. Louisville

Louisville takes over the No. 1 spot this week after pulling off a road win at North Carolina in overtime.

2. North Carolina

North Carolina falls a spot after dropping a home game to Louisville in extra time.

3. Notre Dame

Notre Dame stays steady at No. 3 after a road win over James Madison, a talented mid-major.

4. NC State

NC State earned a convincing road win at Miami this week and remains at No. 4 in the league.

5. Stanford

Stanford continues to rise after taking down Cal in its first conference test.

6. Miami

Miami fell to NC State at home this week and now has four losses on the year, although they’re each to high-major opponents that are in (or near) the Top 25.

7. Syracuse

Syracuse remains a one-loss team after taking down Colgate at home.

8. Duke

Duke had the week off, so the Blue Devils stay at No. 8.

9. Clemson

Clemson earned a conference win over Pitt, but have yet to earn a true resume victory.

10. Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech took down two mid-majors in Presbyterian and ETSU this week.

11. Cal

Cal fell to Stanford on the road after beating Idaho at home earlier this week.

12. Virginia

Virginia beat a very solid mid-major in Howard, but I’m still waiting for a signature win from the Cavaliers.

13. Florida State

Florida State dropped a home game to College of Charleston and has seven losses this season.

14. Wake Forest

Wake Forest earned a narrow home win over Georgia Tech to cap off the week.

15. Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech fell to Wake Forest in a close one on the road. They’re now 4-8 this year.

16. SMU

SMU took down Coppin State this week and has gotten better, but they’re still looking for their first significant win.

17. Pittsburgh

Pitt fell to Clemson on the road this week, which was an expected result.

18. Boston College

Non-conference play has been rough for this new-look Boston College team. They’ve now lost five consecutive contests.
