It’s a phenomenal day of women’s hoops. Get ready for some great action. Here’s my watchlist for the day.

BE SEATED AT ALL COSTS

These are the games you’re going to want to skip work for – the ones that will tell us a whole lot about the best of the best.

5pm: Syracuse vs. Utah (FS2)

This is a really interesting matchup. Syracuse is untested, but has the potential to surprise some teams with a few new key pieces. Utah has some very talented freshmen and proved they can keep up with strong teams when they fell in a close one to Washington.

6pm: USC at Notre Dame (ESPN)

Last year, this might’ve been the best matchup of the year. This season, it’s even more interesting in a way. Two brand-new rosters facing off and looking to get back on track after ranked losses. If Notre Dame could pull off the win at home, it would be crucial in building back some momentum and getting a resume win under their belt.

8pm: Michigan vs. UConn (FOX)

This game deserves all the hype. Michigan absolutely dominated Notre Dame last weekend and they’ll look to maintain that momentum against the No. 1 team in the country in (practically) a road game.

9pm: Colorado State at Oregon State (ESPN+)

This is a really fun mid-major battle between two undefeated teams, both with solid wins under their belt. I’d definitely keep an eye on this one during the late window.

THIS COULD BE COMPETITIVE/FUN

These matchups are more than just your run-of-the-mill easy blowouts. While some of them have the potential to be, these games are an opportunity to see good teams test themselves early.

5pm: Charleston at Quinnipiac (ESPN+)

6:30pm: Portland vs. Idaho State

7:30pm: Cleveland State at Northwestern (Big Ten+)

A DECENT LOOK AND/OR AT OPTIMAL TIMES

These games will either be a solid look at a team or they just fall at optimal times. If you’re in need of basketball to watch all day (like me), these are games to add to your list.

11am: Old Dominion at East Carolina (ESPN+)

7pm: George Washington at Georgetown (ESPN+)

8pm: Northern Arizona at Arizona (ESPN+)

10:30pm: UC Riverside at Idaho (ESPN+)

WATCH YOUR TEAM WIN A BLOWOUT

The rest of the games here will likely provide no true competitive value – but you never know. These games are just a look at some P5’s playing teams they should beat with ease.

12pm: Alabama State at Vanderbilt (SECN+)

7pm: Florida A&M at UCF (ESPN+)
