Alabama commit Jett Thomalla ties Nebraska state record for TD passes in a single game
In Millard South‘s dominating 62-21 thumping of Omaha Westside on Friday night in a Nebraska high school football playoff game, four-star quarterback Jett Thomalla (Alabama commit) had himself a record tying kind of night.
Thomalla went off, throwing for 463 yards and tied a Nebraska record for touchdown passes in a single game with seven in leading the Patriots to a Class A state semifinal victory. Millard South will now play for the NSAA Class A state championship against Papillion-La Vista South on Nov. 25.
The Alabama commit had a high bar to clear this season after completing 250 of 359 passes for 3,663 yards and 47 touchdowns as a junior. Now unofficially, Thomalla this season has thrown for 3,659 yards and 58 touchdown passes.
