Jeremy Vines steps down as Bullock County (Ala.) HFC
Jeremy Vines, the Rivals’ 2025 Alabama High School Football Coach of the Year, will not be returning as the head coach at Bullock County.
Vines confirmed with Rivals on Thursday evening that he’s stepping down as the Hornets’ head coach, but didn’t provide further information exactly why he’s leaving Bullock County.
Last season, Vines led the Hornets to its best record in program history at 9-4 last season, leading the team to its deepest playoff run ever.
Bullock County had won its first playoff game in nearly 12 decades of play. Vines didn’t just win one playoff game at Bullock County this past season, but won two at a program that hadn’t felt victory in the postseason in 118 years.
