The 2025 high school football season will be getting underway in less than six weeks, which means it’s officially preview season. Rivals is breaking down the nation’s top teams from coast-to-coast, and today we make our way to the Palmetto State to look at Dutch Fork. The Silver Foxes always are somewhere near the top of the state rankings in South Carolina and 2025 will be no different. With a roster that features some of the best players in the state, is there any team that can challenge Dutch Fork?

Player Spotlight: EDGE Julian Walker

We don’t think there’s anyone better to spotlight from the Dutch Fork roster than the Michigan commitment coming off the edge. Julian Walker, a four-star edge rusher, was a menace to handle for opposing offensive lines all of last season. At 6-foot-6, 240 pounds, Walker could feasibly line up anywhere across the line of scrimmage and cause havoc. With the senior playing in his final season at Dutch Fork, he will look to go out with a big statistical campaign and another state title in hand.

Others to watch: DL Jaden Wuerth, QB Ethan Offing, LB Raleigh Salters

Season Prediction: 9-0

It’s difficult to make the argument that this season for Dutch Fork will end in anything but another SCHSFL AAAAA Division I state championship. I mean, the team went 13-0 last season and returns key pieces on both sides of the ball. That combined with a fairly advantageous schedule should equal an undefeated season. Every game via the Massey Ratings game predictions are no closer than three scores at the minimum. A series of blowouts are what looks to be lined up in Dutch Fork’s future because the road back to the state championship game through the regular season slate doesn’t seem challenging. Maybe in the state semis or title game itself, but we see the Silver Foxes bringing home the hardware, again.

Game-By-Game Predictions

Aug. 29 – Spartanburg (S.C.) Vikings – W
The state’s No. 1 team opens up the season by blasting Spartanburg, 42-14, and moving to 1-0.

Sept. 5 – Ridge View (S.C.) Blazers – W
Through two games, the Silver Foxes have out-scored opponents 87-21. Ouch.

Sept. 12 – at Gray Collegiate Academy (S.C.) War Eagles – W
Once one of South Carolina’s top high school football programs, Dutch Fork cruises by Gray Collegiate in a 42-6 decision.

Sept. 19 – at Oceanside Collegiate Academy (S.C.) Landsharks – W
The second straight road road tilt that the Silver Foxes make it look easy as they improve to 4-0.

Oct. 3 – Chapin (S.C.) Eagles – W
It’s home sweet home for Dutch Fork as they roll to a 45-7 victory over Chapin.

Oct. 10 – at White Knoll (S.C.) Timberwolves – W
Back on the road, but the result doesn’t change one bit in this decision.

Oct. 17 – Lexington (S.C.) Wildcats – W
Dutch Fork wins by 40 points here, the largest margin of victory on the season.

Oct. 24 – River Bluff (S.C.) Gators – W
There’s little doubt in the last home game of the year that the Silver Foxes wouldn’t come away with another dub.

Oct. 31 – at Irmo (S.C.) Wildcats – W
Closing out the regular season in style on Halloween and the Silver Foxes win 38-14, capping an undefeated regular season slate.
