Based on what I've been told, it sounds to me like it is extremely unlikely he is going to be able to return, as I thought he intimated in his comment after the Arizona game about not wanting to circumvent any rules or anything. I think it's something that if it was there, cool, but he was never going to lead a revolution over it.

It's probably for the best. I think Oscar can now focus on. His post college career.

Now the search is on for a physical big man.

I would have liked to have him back, but I understand his position. Probably ly the same one I'd have if I were him.

It would be nice but if that can’t happen; go get Bidunga!!!

Good luck to him. Glad this didn’t drag out, handcuffing Painter.

I would have sued everyone in the world if I was him but I respect it. 3 years in NCAA basketball when a bunch of players got 5 or 6.

"Start a revolution" is a bit rich when everyone is already doing it. I respect standing on principals and if it got dragged out would have put Purdue in a bad spot, but man is he turning down a lot of money.

Probably he makes this decision soon so Painter can go search the portal.

Best case scenario - Add a 5 who’s produced some and have him and DJ battle it out. Nothing promised to either and whoever starts, starts. Good minutes for both. 1 year guy as to not get in Huan’s way

I looked at Centers from 2026 portal and I don’t see the East Coast kid from Carolina’s (I thought) that one of you Knuckleheads promoted. I’m not the sleuth to find that athletic players name. Who else might be an option?
I doubt Purdue could afford Bidunga, but you never know.

Brian_GoldandBlack.com said:I don't think he needed to lead the revolution. There were already court cases out there. There was a state case which was lost, and a federal court case pending that was more relevant for Cluff. This just based off my recollection of Alan's podcast with the sports attorney that is an expert in this area a month or so ago. Not doubting your current information as I'm sure it came from Purdue or Alan getting an update from this sports attorney.Based on what I've been told, it sounds to me like it is extremely unlikely he is going to be able to return, as I thought he intimated in his comment after the Arizona game about not wanting to circumvent any rules or anything.
