These Indiana fans on this podcast pretty much sum of the sentiment I’ve seen from other Indiana fans I’ve seen on twitter. I’ve watched a bunch of their clips. Their so confident it seems Alabama should just sit this one out.

What. They're having a good year let's not act like they're a dynasty yet. What exactly is the way you build a football team he's referring to. The transfer portal? Obviously we build through the transfer portal too but i don't think there's any significant difference in how we build than say a team like Ohio State who just won last year.

I've seen this guy's face once, I wouldn't assume this guy represents the majority of Indiana fans but he's clearly not someone who's serious about his football takes, not that I think HE thinks that though lol.

Indiana's entire team was built through the transfer portal. Are we supposed to not worry about high school recruits and just buy as many as we can out of the free agent portal every year?

Once again, not saying we're going to win. But these guys act like Indiana has magically morphed into the '85 Bears. This is going to be a battle for both teams, despite what Indiana fans and even some people think on this board. And we've been there before. They haven't.

If you look at Indiana’s depth chart, this is an all or nothing year for them. They’re going to lose 14-16 starters as well as multiple backups after this year. Fully expect them to take a step back next year

They are drunk on that kool aid since the Ohio St win and the Hiesman. Coach got a big fat raise and extension. They may not be focused and going through the motions. Alabama will be focused and ready.

I've watched sports for 50+ years and have seen tons of upsets and the dynamics leading up to them. I'm telling you all the signs leading up to this game are pointing to an upset. Talented Bama team getting healthy and hungry, being the dismissed underdog. Cocky upstart Indiana program already counting a victory over Alabama and looking ahead to the next round of the playoffs. Can't wait for this one.

He doesn’t even elaborate what he means.
is he talking about building your team through th portal instead of recruiting 4 and 5-stars? If so, then ok at least that’s something. Even then he would be wrong as there are a ton of teams doing that with little success.
Also how does he then explain 2024 where Indiana wasn’t nearly as good?
Also, how does he explain Georgia who employs the same “Recruiting mostly + portal to fill gaps” that Alabama does?
it’s tough to even argue with him because he’s speaking so vaguely.
