Taking the name of your country and just adding "City" to it for your capital is a complete boss move.

Another nice clip here. We can each think what we want but about this, he’s right. And I don't mean about verbally abusing players. I do mean the attitudes kids have nowadays regarding real talk, criticism, etc. Among other things.

That was well thought out and coherent. Most shocking it was calm. Completely aside and off topic, I think Mick missed his calling. I think he'd be an Oscar winning character actor if he'd gone that route.

I get what you’re saying about kids generally being uncoachable, but some of the parents are just as culpable, IMO.

Some?? Most parents today are insufferable when it comes to anything with their kids.

Here’s a question though… did he ever stop to think that if he has to tell a player something 50 times, maybe he isn’t explaining it the right waySure some guys don’t listen but if you have to tell them 50 times is yelling going to help? Maybe they need to sit the bench if they can’t figure it out. there’s no doubt that raising your voice in coaching is necessary at times but the way Izzo, Cronin, and Hurley behave should not be normalized in coaching. Society isn’t soft because it doesn’t want coaches like Bob Knight anymore. There are plenty of coaches who treat players with respect, and win at a high level without constantly berating people. Dusty yells, Beilein yelled, Coach K yelled. They also didn’t lose their minds at people. Cronin, Izzo and Hurley have the same problem… they all think their way is the only way and if you don’t like it, then you have a problem.
