Sounds like this injury is not responding well. Troubling.
Where did you hear that?

Yikes. It makes her icing the game with free throws even more impressive

I’d let her sit as long as possible. I think we’re a pretty solid 2 seed and a loss to a ranked team in the B1G tournament without Hannah might not drop us. But that’s just me. These tournaments are just dumb anyway and a grind on your players after 20 game conference season.

Sit her. It's not very likely Iowa was going to win the BTT or go any higher with a deep run. Get healthy and if they fall to a 3 seed so be it.

I still can’t believe the women’s selection is this Sunday. I think Iowa is locked into a 2. Unless it becomes obvious Hannah won’t be available in the postseason and the committee factors that into seeding.

Full text of tweet: General feeling from Jan Jensen on Hannah Stuelke: --> The right-elbow injury is lingering more than they would like. --> She hasn't practiced. Lots of swelling. Mobility limited. Dominant arm. --> Jensen unsure if Stuelke will be able to go at the Big Ten Tournament. (#2 seed Iowa plays 5:30pm CT Friday.) "That's definitely a concern moving forward. ... We're trying to give (the injury) every minute."

If in doubt sit her out, Getting her as healthy as possible for NCAA is easily priority #1.

Is it? It's always on the same weekend as the men's selection.

Sit Hannah and run Journey, Teagan, and Layla. UCLA isn't losing the BTT, so rest up and get healthy for the NCAA.

Its not this Sunday. Its the same Sunday as the mens' selection. The Big Ten womens conference tournament is earlier than most. The Missouri Valley women's tournament doesn't end in Coralville until March 15th.

I wouldn't play her, since it looks pretty clear she won't be 100% this weekend. Get the swelling down, she how she feels, see what the doctors think, and go from there.

It will be her choice. Only she will know how it feels come game time and if it's still too sore to play then she sits.

Keep her out. If we win one game in BTT we are a lock for a #2. If we lose the worse we will be is a 3 but still banking on a 2 unless it is an ugly loss.

Even IF it’s a 3 seed I am sure the ncaa understands filling an arena and Iowa city will pack it in. That’s a good look for womens basketball for the first two rounds.

Sit the rest of the season and petition for another year. Everyone else is doing it.

Darn it, Nebraska lost to Indiana in the first round. It's Nebraska, but I was hoping Big Ten can keep its expected 12 teams in the NCAA tournament for conference supremacy. Looks like Nebraska will be out now.

MVC tournament is in Coralville? Maybe I'll go there and take a peek.

Epic collapse by Nebraska in that game.

Now I'm routing for Indiana to get to the final by beating UCLA. Maybe that will get them in instead. Of course they will still lose to Iowa in the final ;)
