2025 Big Ten Basketball Tournament Projection: Bracket, schedule for field if season ended today - Feb. 28th

The Big Ten only had one game on the schedule on Thursday. However, besides the wild ending, it also had an impact on the bracket for the Big Ten Tournament.
No. 15 Michigan had a buzzer-beating three from Nimari Burnett last night to win 84-82 over Rutgers. It put the Wolverines at 22-6 (14-3) overall, and they’re currently a projected top-four seed in the NCAA Tournament while it sent the Scarlet Knights, who were second away from their biggest win on the season, back under .500 at 14-15 (7-11).
With that, Michigan remains right there for the regular-season title in the Big Ten. They stayed tied with Michigan State, who hit a buzzer-beater of their own this week, with a week and a half to go, including a rematch in their season finale’s that could decide the No. 1 seed in the conference. Rutgers then dropped a seed because of the loss as they swapped with Nebraska at No. 11 and No. 12 respectively in the league’s bracket.
Here’s how the Big Ten Tournament looks as of today per the projections at PlayoffStatus.com:
