Over 20 schools have offered 2025 offensive lineman Kaden Strayhorn. The Michigan State legacy is drawing national attention and has become one of the most sought-after centers in the next cycle.

After taking numerous visits over the last year and a half, the 6-foot-2.5, 285-pound junior out of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy has cut his list to a dozen schools.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas and USC are my top schools,” Strayhorn told On3. “I have visited every school on the list except for Missouri and Penn State, so I have solid relationships with all 12 programs.

“Each school has good coaches, I have seen elite offensive linemen come out of each program and I look forward to furthering my relationships with each school.”

This is the first step for Strayhorn. He is in communication with each of these schools at a minimum of three times a week. Some reach out every day. Communication is important.

Visits are too. Being a legacy, Strayhorn has visited East Lansing the most. Michigan is not far behind. He has tripped to Ann Arbor around eight times. Alabama has had him on campus four or five times as well. Strayhorn was at the SEC Championship game in Atlanta. He also took in games at Florida, Michigan and Michigan State this season. He took visits to Florida and Miami in January and the in-state schools are coming on strong.

Strayhorn has unofficial visits to Florida (March 23), Alabama (March 26) and Georgia (March 28) coming up. After spring visits, he is looking to trim his list down again and lock in his official visits before announcing his commitment.

“I will get down to somewhere around eight schools,” Strayhorn said. “With the new rule of unlimited official visits, I will plan to visit each school on that list officially before making my decision.

“I want to give every school on my next list a shot. When I make my next cut, I will likely already have some official visits scheduled.

“Then it will come down to being developed. I will look at the strength and conditioning program, what resources they have and the type of environment I will live in. Those things will be important to me.”

Strayhorn has committed to playing the 2025 Under Armour All-American game.
