Four-star TE Mack Sutter commits to Alabama
Dunlap (Ill.) High four-star tight end Mack Sutter has committed to Alabama. He chose to play for head coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff over his other finalists in Ohio State, Ole Miss and Illinois.
The On3 Industry tabs the 6-foot-5 1/2, 225-pound Sutter as the No. 6 tight end in the country and No. 99 prospect overall. He also strongly considered Penn State, North Carolina and several others.
Sutter becomes commit No. 8 for Alabama in the 2026 cycle, adding to a class the On3 Industry previously ranked No. 10 nationally.
“Big-time program,” Sutter has said in the past.
Time spent in Tuscaloosa made Sutter feel at home
Sutter has taken several visits to Tuscaloosa including his official visit this weekend.
“First time I stepped on campus it felt so electric and awesome and all the people there. I love Coach DeBoer. He’s down to earth. Kind of like a Midwestern guy. Big-time family guy too.
“Going there it’s a great place. I see myself there and the overall fit. Last year they played with a tight end every down and it’s cool to see. They’re getting those guys on the field.”
