OT Andrew Babalola is new 5-star in updated 2025 On300

With June official visits in the past and the midway point of the recruiting calendar here, On3 has updated its recruiting rankings for the 2025 class. Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest offensive tackle Andrew Babalola is the No. 14 overall prospect and a new five-star in the 2025 On300.
The latest edition of On3’s 2024 rankings features 15 five-star prospects, up five from the previous update in April. Of those 15 five-stars, nine are already committed to college programs. Evaluations are far from over as prospects gear up for their senior seasons on the gridiron.
The 6-foot-5.5, 295-pound Babalola is the top prospect in the Sunflower State this cycle and continues to stand out amidst a stacked group of elite offensive tackles. While Babalola is yet to officially cut his list of top schools down, he’s taken official visits to Auburn, Missouri, Stanford, Michigan and Oklahoma since May.

Stanford is currently trending for his commitment, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).
“I will go into the official visits with an open mind to all five schools, compare the different schools and make the best decision,” Babalola told On3 ahead of his OVs. “I have visited all five of these schools already, so I have a good feeling about them. Now I want to go on the official visits, get another look at them and see how I feel.”
Scout’s Take on Andrew Babalola
On3’s scouting and rankings team writes this of Babalola as a prospect:
“In what is an historic cycle along the offensive line, Andrew Babalola has an argument to owning one of the highest upsides among offensive line prospects. He has a big frame at over 6’5 and 295 pounds with 34-plus inch arms. And he is a guy who has shown outstanding movement skills and play strength. He made a big jump from his sophomore to junior season. And based on the improvement we saw, he has been a stock up prospect for us. We are eager to see the strides he makes as a senior given the amount of size and strength he’s added over the past year.”
