Another week of college basketball is in the books, and the latest AP Top 25 Poll again saw some changes because of the results. It was a relatively clean week for AP-ranked teams, with 16 teams escaping with zero losses. But that didn’t stop the latest AP Basketball Poll from seeing some movement.

Six teams picked up one loss over the last week, including three teams inside last week’s top ten. No. 4 Arizona fell against Utah as part of a 1-1 week. No. 6 Baylor and No. 10 Indiana each picked up impressive wins with the Bears defeating No. 14 Gonzaga and the Hoosiers beating No. 18 North Carolina. But Baylor also lost to Marquette while Indiana lost to Rutgers.

No. 16 Illinois lost in a ranked matchup against No. 22 Maryland while also beating Syracuse, and No. 25 Ohio State also fell against No. 17 Duke.

Three teams lost twice this week. No. 7 Creighton continued its recent slide, losing against No. 2 Texas and also against Nebraska. No. 18 North Carolina also continued to struggle, as the Tar Heels lost to Indiana and Virginia Tech while becoming the first preseason No. 1 team to lose four consecutive games. No. 20 Michigan State also lost twice, falling to Notre Dame and Northwestern.

There are multiple new teams in this week’s AP Top 25 Poll, as the college basketball world continues to take shape. With plenty of season left to play, there are sure to be a lot more changes to come over the next few weeks and months.
