Auburn at Vanderbilt injury update: Friday availability report revealed
Considering the state of the two teams going into this week, Auburn vs. No. 16 Vanderbilt is one of the more interesting games this week in the Southeastern Conference. Now, ahead of its kickoff tomorrow afternoon in Nashville, the SEC has released the final update to the respective injury reports for the Tigers and Commodores.
The SEC Availability Report is first released on Wednesday nights ahead of conference games on Saturdays. Updates then come out for them on Thursdays and Fridays.

Auburn did not make any changes to their designations from Wednesday to Thursday. Five players remain out, most notably with the absence this week of Anthony, and four remain questionable, namely Melendez, with 22 tackles, a sack, and an interception on the season at linebacker, and Frazier, their leading tight end with 12 receptions for 78 yards. This is the roster situation that will be coached this weekend by D.J. Durkin, who will make his debut as their interim following last weekend’s firing of Hugh Freeze.
Vanderbilt also did not make any changes to their report from the first one to the second going into Friday. Carter, with 24 tackles at safety for their defense this fall, was the only questionable name going into this weekend, with five others already being out, for the Commodores. That’s the setup for Vandy, who will look to bounce back from what was the second loss of their season last weekend in Austin.
