With one week(ish) of college football on the books for 2022, CBS Sports has released an updated NFL mock draft. With players coast to coast making their first impressions for scouts and fans alike, things already look a lot different than they might’ve even a few weeks ago.

Some players are ascending and have the chance to keep on climbing, like Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson, while others have taken a dip for a number of reasons, like Ohio State wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who left the season opener with a lower body injury — though he’s still a Top 15 projected pick.

CBS set their mock draft order using their own SportsLine’s Super Bowl odds. Also of note, the Miami Dolphins forfeited one of their two first round picks in 2023 as a result of their punishment for tampering — the mock draft reflects that with 31 picks.
