Blue-chip OL Adam Guthrie commits to Clemson over Ohio State and Penn State

It’s a big recruiting week at Clemson as Dabo Swinney and his staff bring in many of their top targets from all over the country.
And we have some fireworks.
Washington Court House (Ohio) Miami Trace On300 2026 offensive tackle Adam Guthrie has committed. He chooses to play for Swinney and company over Ohio State, Penn State and a slew of others.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Guthrie is tabbed by the On3 Industry as the nation’s No. 19 offensive tackle and No. 225 prospect overall.

Guthrie becomes commit No. 6 for Clemson in the class of 2026. He also visited during the fall.
“It was a great time,” Guthrie said after the trip. “I fell in love with the place.”
The ACC powerhouse is a place Guthrie sees himself thriving.
“I loved it all,” Guthrie said. “From the stadium, to the people, the facilities, the way they carry themselves, and how much Clemson fans love their team.”
Besides his top schools, Guthrie also held offers from the likes of Georgia, Miami, Oregon, Auburn and Texas A&M.
