College Football Announcer Schedule: Broadcasters for notable Week 9 games

The final Saturday in October is approaching, meaning the final stretch of the season is almost here. Week 9 includes some important games across college football, and the announcer schedule has been revealed.
Through the first eight weeks of the year, college football viewership is up 5% from the same time period last season, according to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel data. ABC has been the biggest winner and has more notable games on Saturday.

One of the top games, though, will be in Nashville as Missouri takes on Vanderbilt. Here is the full Week 9 college football announcer schedule, according to data compiled by 506Sports.
UCLA at Indiana
Date/Time: Oct. 25, Noon ET
Channel: FOX
Announcers: Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt
UCLA has found a spark since making a coaching change, and Tim Skipper’s group will make the trip to Bloomington to take on a red-hot Indiana team. FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff will be in attendance with Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt calling the game in the early window.
Ole Miss at Oklahoma

Date/Time: Oct. 25, Noon ET
Channel: ABC
Announcers: Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy
The first game of ABC’s tripleheader has plenty at stake. Ole Miss and Oklahoma will square off in what’s being billed as a potential College Football Playoff elimination game, making it one of the more intriguing matchups on the Week 9 slate.
USF at Memphis
Date/Time: Oct. 25, Noon ET
Channel: ESPN2
Announcers: Matt Schumacker, Sam Acho
A key American Conference showdown will see USF take on Memphis, looking to stay undefeated in conference play. The Bulls are one of three unbeaten teams in the American while the Tigers will look to bounce back from a Week 8 loss to UAB.
Kansas State at Kansas
Date/Time: Oct. 25, Noon ET
Channel: TNT
Announcers: J.B. Long, Mike Golic Jr.
The Sunflower Showdown gives TNT a marquee Big 12 game in Week 9. Kansas and Kansas State will renew their rivalry with J.B. Long and Mike Golic Jr. on the call.
Auburn at Arkansas

Date/Time: Oct. 25, 12:45 p.m. ET
Channel: SEC Network
Announcers: Dave Neal, Fozzy Whittaker
Another important SEC matchup kicks off later in the early window as Auburn takes on Arkansas. The Tigers are trying to avoid an 0-5 start to conference play while the Razorbacks are searching for their first win under interim head coach Bobby Petrino.
Alabama at South Carolina
Date/Time: Oct. 25, 3:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC
Announcers: Joe Tessitore, Jesse Palmer
Alabama takes a six-game win streak into its Week 9 matchup at South Carolina, looking to stay undefeated in SEC play. Joe Tessitore and Jesse Palmer will be on the call in the coveted 3:30 p.m. ET window for ABC.

BYU and Iowa State will battle it out in an important Big 12 game for both teams. The Cougars improved to 7-0 with a rivalry win over Utah last time out and will try to stay undefeated in conference play as they take on a Cyclones team coming off back-to-back losses.
Missouri at Vanderbilt

ESPN College GameDay will be in attendance as Missouri takes on a surging Vanderbilt team in Nashville. The Commodores took down LSU at FirstBank Stadium last week, but the Tigers are also coming off a huge double-overtime win over Auburn on The Plains last time out.
Texas A&M at LSU

ABC’s lead team of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be in Baton Rouge as LSU takes on Texas A&M. The Tigers have lost two of their last three games while the Aggies enter as the last remaining undefeated SEC team.
Michigan at Michigan State

The Paul Bunyan Trophy has been in Ann Arbor for the last three years, and Michigan will try to make it four straight wins over Michigan State in Saturday’s primetime game. It will get the B1G Saturday Night treatment on NBC with Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge on the call.
