Creighton lands commitment from Serbian 7-foot center Aleksa Dimitrijevic

Aleksa Dimitrijević, a 7-foot professional basketball player from Serbia, has committed to Creighton, according to his agent Stevan Petrovic of Agency 55.
The talented 18-year-old center chose Greg McDermott and the Bluejays over Michigan and Illinois.

Dimitrijević plays for Partizan Belgrade of the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. The big man has also been participating with Metalac Valijevo of the Basketball League of Serbia (KLS).
Creighton will lose All-American big man Ryan Kalkbrenner to expiring eligibility after this season. Kalkbrenner leads the ‘Jays in scoring (19.4), rebounds (8.8), and blocks (2.7).
