DL Ted Gregoire announces top five schools and commitment date

Roselle Park (N.J.) Hudson Catholic defensive lineman Ted Gregoire revealed his top five schools on Thursday. They are Pennsylvania, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tulane and Vanderbilt. He also shared that he will be committing on the afternoon of Aug. 6.

Gregoire is not ranked in both the 2023 On3 Consensus and the 2023 On300. He stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 275 pounds.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Commodores have a commanding lead to land Gregoire’s commitment at 92.3% The Scarlet Knights have the next-best odds at 4.7%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. 

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Gregoire has taken seven unofficial visits so far in his recruiting process. Two were to Rutgers, while Army, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Penn State and Syracuse each received one.
