ESPN College GameDay: Picks for Week 2, Michigan at Oklahoma

ESPN brought College GameDay to Norman, Oklahoma for Week 2. It’s the first show of the post-Lee Corso era, and it’s a doozy — Michigan is on the road to face Oklahoma at Memorial Stadium.

The battle between Bryce Underwood and John Mateer is bound to captive fans, but there’s other intense matchups throughout the college football world as well. Illinois faces Duke, Iowa will battle Iowa State and Ole Miss is matched up with Kentucky in Week 2.

Michigan at Oklahoma: No pick from Herbstreit since he’s calling the game. Of course, Howard is on the Wolverines, and Saban agrees. Young went with his beloved Sooners, and McAfee was the main event, with the charismatic analyst picking Oklahoma as well.

Iowa at Iowa State: This should be a wild one in Ames. McAfee and Herbstreit are on the Hawkeyes, while Howard, Saban and Young believe in the Cyclones.

Ole Miss at Kentucky: Young is the only believer in the Wildcats. Everyone else is on the Rebels to get the win in an SEC battle.

Arizona State at Mississippi State: Can the Bulldogs avenge last season’s loss? Young and Herbstreit think so. Howard, Saban and McAfee are on the Sun Devils to get another dub though.

Kansas at Missouri: The Jayhawks have Howard and McAfee on their side. Saban, Young and Herbstreit believe in the Tigers of the SEC.

Virginia at NC State: The Cavaliers got some love from Howard, Saban and Young. On the other hand, McAfee and Herbstreit are on the Wolfpack.

Baylor at SMU: Howard and Young are believers in the Bears. The Mustangs have Saban, McAfee and Herbstreit in their corner though.

Illinois at Duke: Howard, Saban and McAfee are on the Fighting Illini. However, Young and Herbstreit believe in the Blue Devils.
