Falcons TE Kyle Pitts believed to have suffered MCL tear

Former Florida Gators star and current Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts went down during the team’s 27-24 win over the Chicago Bears with a knee injury. It’s now being reported by Ian Rapoport that he suffered an MCL tear in his knee.
Rapoport originally reported that it was a sprain in the MCL and that he would undergo an MRI to confirm that diagnosis. However, that MRI came back that he had torn the ligament instead of just spraining it.
Unfortunately, for Kyle Pitts and the Falcons, this injury is going to require surgery and would likely end his season.
