Four-Star IOL Mason Short decommits from Alabama

Four-star interior offensive lineman Mason Short of Evans (GA) High has decommitted from Alabama.

The 6-foot-6, 315 pounder had been committed to the Crimson Tide since April.

Short sent a statement to On3:

“First off I would like to thank God for the blessings in my life and the opportunities I’ve been given. I would also like to thank Coach Saban and the coaching staff at Alabama for an amazing two years. 

With that being said I am reopening recruitment.”

Short ranks as the No. 193 player according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 10 interior offensive lineman and the No. 26 player in the state of Georgia.
