Here is that first update to the availability report from the SEC for Georgia and Mississippi State:
Georgia Bulldogs
- DL Jordan Hall – OUT
- WR Colbie Young – OUT
- TE Ethan Barbour – OUT
- WR Talyn Taylor – OUT
- DB Kyron Jones – OUT
- CB Demello Jones – QUESTIONABLE
Mississippi State Bulldogs
- CB Jett Jefferson – OUT
- OL Brennan Smith – OUT
- OL Blake Steen – OUT
- DL Will Whitson – OUT
- OL Albert Reese IV – OUT
- S Jahron Manning – PROBABLE
On Wednesday, Georgia was set to be without five of the six designations on their report, with Hall on their defensive line joining Young, their second-leading receiver, and Jones, a contributor in their secondary, as key names who are out. Jones, another defensive back for the ‘Dawgs, is then the uncertainty, with him initially labeled as questionable.
Then, Mississippi State is already down four players out of their sixth, including a pair of options at offensive lineman. Reese, who was listed as doubtful, could make that a third for the Bulldogs. However, Manning, their leading tackler as well as one of their top players in the secondary, was labeled as probable to play, though.
