Ja'Kobi Jackson injury update: Florida RB's status revealed on Thursday availability report

Florida and Texas A&M are set to square off this weekend in a game that will have major implications in the conference race. While the Aggies enter unbeaten in league play, the Gators have just one loss.
So the injury report certainly looms large for both teams. And it’s heavily stacked in favor of one team entering the contest.
While Florida has a dozen or so players listed on the injury report, Texas A&M has only a couple. Let’s dive into Thursday’s updated report for the latest on each team.
Florida Gators
Out:
RB Treyaun Webb
EDGE LJ McCray
DB Aaron Gates
RB Duke Clark
DB Dijon Johnson
DL Caleb Banks
Questionable:
WR Muizz Tounkara
RB Ja’Kobi Jackson
OL Devon Manuel
OL Roderick Kearney
TE Tony Livingston
Texas A&M Aggies
Out:
TE Kiotti Armstrong
Questionable:
S Jarred Kerr
Probable:
LB Scooby Williams
One spot where Florida is getting particularly thin on the depth chart is at running back. The good news is talented starter Jadan Baugh is healthy, so the team will at least have its best top-line production available going into the game.
But a few others are out or questionable. Ja’Kobi Jackson, the team’s primary backup, was listed as questionable on Wednesday’s report. That was an improvement from last week, when he did not play against Texas.

However, a few others also found their way onto the list. Last week’s backup with Jackson out, Duke Clark, was also listed as out for this week’s contest after sustaining a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, reserve Treyaun Webb is also out.
Other injuries of note for Florida that initially appeared on Wednesday’s report and are worth keeping an eye on? Wide receiver Aidan Mizell and tight end Tony Livingston.
For Texas A&M, there aren’t a whole lot of injuries heading into the Florida game. Safety Jared Kerr was listed as out for the contest on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the status of linebacker Scooby Williams, a former Florida transfer, will bear monitoring leading into the game. He was listed as questionable on Wednesday.
He will obviously want to give it a go against his former Florida squad if at all possible. Williams has logged 12 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble, an interception and a quarterback hurry while playing in three games this year. He hasn’t played since the Notre Dame game on Sept. 13.
