Who will be hoisting the trophy as the champions of the college football world next season?

At the moment, the Alabama Crimson Tide have the best odds in the nation. While Nick Saban and company fells short last season, reigning Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young is looking to win a championship as the team’s starting quarterback before he leaves Tuscaloosa.

In their way stands last season’s champions, the Georgia Bulldogs. Moreover, Kirby Smart and company will be bringing back their quarterback in Stetson Bennett, as well. After ending their long drought last season, the Bulldogs are looking to get greedy by winning their second straight title.

On the other hand, a bevy of familiar faces are looking to return to the top. Two of those teams are the Ohio State Buckeyes and Clemson Tigers. Both programs slipped up in 2021, but will be looking to bring their championship caliber play back in 2022.

Finally, a host pf underrated contenders will be looking to make some bettors happy as long-shots. In his first season as the Notre Dame coach, Marcus Freeman is looking to make a gigantic statement. Additionally, Billy Napier and Florida will be attempting to shock the world in the former Louisiana coach’s first season in Gainesville.

As you can see, there’s plenty to think about this upcoming season. Here’s the updated college football national championship odds, per Vegas Insider.
