With Ole Miss’ clinching victory in the College World Series, the NCAA Baseball Championship has come to a close. The Rebels may be going home with the genuine trophy, but multiple players received honors afterward with the release of the 2022 CWS All-Tournament Team.

The Rebels led the way with six selections out of the eleven spots. Amongst the choices is the College World Series’ Most Outstanding Player in Rebel’s pitcher Dylan DeLucia. Tim Elko, Justin Bench, Calvin Harris, Kevin Graham, and Kemp Alderman also made the cut for the title team.

Oklahoma finished second in the CWS field with three selections for the Sooners. Peyton Graham, Tanner Tredaway, and Cade Horton represented the national runner up. Notre Dame and Arkansas each earned a selection apiece to the team.

The Ole Miss Rebels’ baseball team officially won their first national crown in school history on Sunday evening after defeating the Oklahoma Sooners 4-2 in Game 2 of their best-of-three matchup in the CWS Final. In their historic run, the Rebels were propelled by the excellent pitching of their ace, Dylan DeLucia. He was named the Most Outstanding Player for the 2022 College World Series. His numbers were impeccable–in four starts, DeLucia went 3-0 with a 1.59 ERA in just over 28 innings of work.
