Four-star offensive tackle Ben Congdon commits to Miami
Mineral City (Ohio) Tuscarawas Valley On300 offensive tackle Ben Congdon committed to Miami during his return visit to campus on Monday.
The Hurricanes opened spring camp and added for the future. The four-star Congdon chooses to play his college football at The U over the likes of Penn State, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Wisconsin and many others.
The 6-foot-8, 285-pound Congdon is commit No. 4 for Miami in the 2026 cycle. He has built a great rapport with Cristobal and offensive line coach Alex Mirabal.
“I love Coach Mirabal and Cristobal,” Congdon recently said. “I love the campus. I love how they treat and interact with my family.

On3 ranks Congdon as the nation’s No. 20 offensive tackle and No. 177 prospect overall. He raved about his January visit to Coral Gables as well.
“Miami was amazing,” Congdon said. “They checked off all the boxes. It was great to sit down talk ball and learn from a legendary offensive line coach like Coach Mirabal. Also how beautiful campus and the community. I also just was blown away by how genuine the whole staff was they treated me along with my mom very elite and told me I’m a priority.”
Congdon’s official visit to Coral Gables is set for June 20. The Hurricanes continue to rise in the On3 Industry Recruiting Rankings.
