Oklahoma State Director of Player Development suspended for verbal sideline altercation
Richetti Jones, Oklahoma State’s Director of Player Development, has been suspended indefinitely following a verbal altercation with safety DeAndre Boykins on the sideline during Saturday’s game against Baylor, sources told On3.
Jones, who was a defensive end at OSU from 2012-15, has been the Cowboys’ Director of Player Development since 2021. Boykins was dismissed from the Cowboys’ program this weekend, sources said. He has since entered the Transfer Portal.

Boykins came to Oklahoma State from North Carolina, where he started 14 games as a sophomore in 2022.
Prior to coming back to Oklahoma State in 2021, Jones was a middle school teacher and counselor in Lancaster, Texas. At George Washington Carver Middle School, he was honored as Teacher of the Year.
