On3 Impact Rankings: The Top Risers from Week13
The last week of the regular season is already here. Time flies. But during this week of giving thanks, let’s cherish the fun memories 2025 provided, rather than dwell on the quickly approaching end date.
Bum rush those humbugs with a positive outlook, whether it’s being grateful for new leadership atop your program, a well-funded off-season war chest, or warm recollections of breakout performances from the dudes wearing friendly colors.
Too many examples exist to shoutout each one across the previous 3 months of gridiron glory. That said, there were some who improved their stock within our On3 Impact Rankings this weekend that deserve some shine beyond the headliners and highlight knights.
Let’s check them out before that freshly glazed turkey or ooey gooey mac and cheese commands our gaze!
Impact Riser of the Week: OT Trevor Goosby, Texas
Previous Rank: OT 45, Outside Top300
Current Rank: OT 24, Player No. 167
While Arch Manning was the first Texas football player to throw, run, and catch a TD in the same game, the Longhorns’ best blocker has been playing his best ball of late. Trevor Goosby has disallowed a pressure in three-of-the-last-four games. And in his latest effort stifling pass rushes, he earned a 90.5 PFF pass block grade — the 2nd-highest mark from a P4-er this week.
Haters will point out the relapses against Georgia. But, Goosby remains one of the more balanced and effective OTs around. He’s 1/11 high-volume guys at the position to sport at least a 76.0 PFF pass and run block grade exiting this weekend.
With a 6’7, 315 lb frame, Goosby’s continued success as a prominent SEC bookend could see him living out his potential and being a future first round pick.
No. 2: WR Wyatt Young, North Texas
Previous Rank: WR 76, Outside Top300
Current Rank: WR 37, Player No. 300
No passer in the country has more yards than Drew Westemaker. Naturally, his favorite target, Wyatt Young, has been pretty productive this season, particularly the last few weeks. Since Week 8, no one has been responsible for more receiving yards than his 782, nor out-done his 93.6 PFF receiving grade. The latter is 3 points better than Jeremiah Smith. Now, that’s something!
While a steady riser, his performance over the weekend merited a meteoric adjustment to his personal impact ranking. Young cooked Rice. He caught 8-of-9 targets for 295 yards and 2 TDs. Not only is that a American Conference record, that’s 41 more yards in a game than anyone else has had in 2025. Now, that’s something!
Like many of his teammates putting up video game numbers in the G5, Young ought to become a popular portal target. Along with the very nice counting stats, he’s also delivered bankable bang-for-buck. He’s the only player in college football with over 25 targets to rock a +4.0 yards per route run. And his such 4.25 figure is over a half-yard more than the next man up. Now, that’s something!
No. 3: EDGE Darryl Peterson, Wisconsin
Previous Rank: EDGE 78, Outside Top300
Current Rank: EDGE 56, Outside Top300
Daryll Peterson has played possessed the last two weeks. I don’t know if it had anything to do with Wisconsin’s brass reaffirming its commitment to the embattled Luke Fickell or not. But since the move to stick behind the sub-.500 head coach, the Badger has had back-to-back games with 3 sacks and at least 4 stops. Noteworthy stuff considering he did it against two ranked conference foes.
For context, the veteran entered this fall with no season of more than 3 QB takedowns — and he just matched in consecutive games.
In addition to aforementioned impact plays, Peterson also forced a fumble on one of his sacks. On the year, he’s up to 50 impact plays at an impressive 14.7% rate, which is a top10 mark among P4 edges.
No. 4: CB Treydan Stukes, Arizona
Previous Rank: CB 50, Outside Top300
Current Rank: CB 34, Outside Top300
Sixth-year senior Treydan Stukes‘ last three games have enabled him to have a career-season. In that span, he’s successfully defended 6 passes. Now up to 9 total on the season, he’s tied for the 10th-most among P4 cornerbacks in that respect.
Most recently, Stukes only surrendered 17 yards across 5 targets against one of college football’s most prolific QBs in Sawyer Robertson; including nabbing a clutch red zone interception.
PFF presently scores him as the P4’s 3rd-highest graded coverageman at 90.3. Opposing passers average a 35.3 QB Rating targeting him. FYI — you can get 39.6 by spiking the ball every play.

Plus, Stukes has been more than just a ball hawk. His 31 total impact plays (havocs + defensive stops) are the 5th-most at the position. At 6’2, 200, he could be an intriguing day 3 option considering his experience and impressive recent production.
No. 5: LB Chris Cole, Georgia
Previous Rank: LB 76, Outside Top300
Current Rank: LB 55, Outside Top300
Coming off his first career start, Chris Cole is well-positioned to be the Bulldogs next great off-ball linebacker. Saturday, Cole tallied 1 sack, 1 additional hurry, and a personal-best 4 stops.
Yes, Charlotte was overwhelmed in every facet. But, the arrow has been pointing up for awhile now for the former top3 LB in the 2024 class. On a per snap basis, Cole’s 11.3% Impact Rate is the 10th-best clip among P4-ers.
No. 6: S Ty Bryant, Kentucky
Previous Rank: S 63, Outside Top300
Current Rank: S 40, Outside Top300
Kentucky’s pass defense had a lousy day trying to contain the Commodores’ aerial onslaught. In case you missed it, Diego Pavia set a school record and revitalized his Heisman campaign, completing 32-of-38 passes for 469 yards and 4 scores. His lone blemish wound up in the mitts of the SEC’s interception leader, Ty Bryant.
UK’s secondary has had health issues, but Bryant has be a steady presence on the backend. His 79.6 PFF coverage grade is the SEC’s 8th-best. Plus, only 13 high volume P4 safeties sport a preferable yards per coverage snap than his 0.3 figure.
No. 7: TE Rocky Beers, Colorado State
Previous Rank: TE 76, Outside Top300
Current Rank: TE 55, Outside Top300
Rocky Beers might be a perennial All-Name Team selection, but he’s quickly become one of the G5’s most notable tight ends. Steady and reliable, Beers has caught 80.4% of his targets this season. And more importantly, half of them have resulted in a fresh set of downs or points.
Over the weekend, he scored his 6th TD of the season, which was his 3rd-straight contest with a score. Saturday was also his 3rd-straight game with over 60 receiving yards, bringing his total on the season to 346. Ahead of Week14, he sits just outside the top10 among minor league TE’s in that department.
No. 8: LB Bryan Longwell, Vanderbilt
Previous Rank: LB 54, Outside Top300
Current Rank: LB 44, Outside Top300
All three of Vanderbilt’s LBs are inside the top75 at the position in our Impact Rankings. But, Bryan Longwell elevated his stock the most against Kentucky. The hometown hero from Nashville scored a 82.0 PFF defensive grade and kept his 10-game streak of recording multiple stops against a P4 offense in tact. Plus, he only allowed 3 yards across a pair of targets against Cutter Boley, who entered the game as the SEC’s most accurate passer. Busy and disruptive, Longwell’s 6.7% Havoc Rate this fall is the P4’s 2nd-best clip.
Blue Chip Shoutout: RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame
Previous Rank: RB 1, Player No. 6
Current Rank: RB 1, Player No. 3
Boatrace, blow out, butt-kicking — lots of phrases can describe Notre Dame’s 70-7 triumph over Syracuse. In case you missed it, the Irish were up 21-0 before their offense took the field. Though Jeremiyah Love’s workload was limited due to the game flow, he still provided a jolt and reaffirmed why he’s the top RB in our Impact Rankings. On just 8 touches, he gained 171 yards for 3 TDs.
The Golden Domer has racked up the 3rd most total yards among running backs with 1,306 on the ground and 274 through the air. Only Ole Miss’s Kewan Lacy has totaled more tuddies than his 17. Plus, Love’s big play modus operandi is hammered home by rocking both a top10 YAC Average (4.62) and Explosive Run Rate (20.0%) among backs with at least 90 attempts.
His traits and production, even with the recent NFL mantra “RBs don’t matter”, scream he’s worthy of a top10 pick come April’s draft.
