On3 top-100 recruit Boubacar Traore decommits from Boston College

West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial four-star defensive lineman Boubacar Traore has decommited from Boston College, announcing the news Saturday.
“First off, I would like to thank the whole Boston College football recruiting staff for recruiting me and giving me the opportunity to play at the next level. This has been a tough decision and not an easy one to make. But after talking it over with me family, I have decided to (decommit) from Boston College,” Traore said.
Traore originally committed to the Eagles on Aug. 5, 2020.
He is the No. 133 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
In the 2023 On300 ranking, Traore is the No. 98 overall recruit and 15th-best defensive lineman in the recruiting class.
