Agent: Penn State "making a late push" for prized edge Luke Wafle

Hun School (NJ) four-star edge rusher Luke Wafle is set to commit at 2 pm ET. The final five schools are Florida, Ohio State, Penn State, Texas and USC.
The Trojans and Buckeyes have been in a back-and-forth over the last 24 hours and the momentum coming into the day has been with USC.
As On3 reported this morning, dialogue was also going to continue with Ryan Day. That’s not the only program communicating with the Wafle camp.
“Penn State making a late push,” Brian Klatsky who is representing Wafle tells On3.
Wafle’s older brother Owen plays for the Nittany Lions. Penn State heads into the day with the nation’s No. 11 ranked recruiting class.

As reported yesterday sources are indicating Wafle is tracking to be the next prospect to have a deal of at least a million dollars per year. We’re hearing now a two-year deal worth between 2.2 and 2.6 million dollars is the range for Wafle.
“It’s not all about money,” Klatsky added.
The On3 Industry tabs Wafle as the No. 10 edge rusher and No. 52 prospect overall. On3 slots him at No. 4 and No. 14 respectively.
