With Jim Harbaugh no longer coaching at Michigan, Pro Wrestling legend Ric Flair has deemed Ole Miss as his new team. Along with claiming the Rebels, Flair claimed that Lane Kiffin is now the greatest coach in college football.

“In lieu of (Coach Jim Harbaugh) leaving Michigan, I will always be Michigan‘s biggest fan, but my new team now is Ole Miss,” Flair wrote on Twitter/X. “Lately, Lane Kiffin is the greatest coach in college football. Kirby Smart, I will never forget you walking by and ignoring me and shaking Herschel Walker‘s hand while I was standing right next to him. Go Ole Miss & Lane Kiffin. LFG! WOOOOO!”

Flair’s new allegiance to Ole Miss comes after the Rebels’ 6-0 start to the season. Ole Miss is up to No. 5 in the AP Poll Rankings and could climb even higher with a win over No. 9 Georgia on Saturday. Along with jumping on the Ole Miss bandwagon, Flair revealed that Kirby Smart may have stiffed him on a handshake.

The 16-time world champion is no stranger to fueding with college football figures, as he made headlines earlier this season for his back-and-forth affair with SEC Network figure head Paul Finebaum. Finebaum, who has taken repeated shots at Flair’s favorite head coach in Harbaugh, got an earful from the legend following Ohio State‘s win over Texas earlier this season.

“Dear Mr. Finebaum, as usual you are the most absurd and incompetent analyst in all of college football,” Flair wrote on Twitter/X back in August. “I’ll take Heather Dinich any day over you. You should be expelled from ESPN. Every time I see you on the TV, I turn it off. You have 22,000 followers. I have 9.3 million followers.”

“The fact that you would call out Jim Harbaugh last year and say that he will never be able to coach in the pros and now he will probably win a Super Bowl! And the fact that you are predicting that Texas will murder Ohio State is insane! Go look In the mirror and find something else to do for a living. So embarrassing!”

So now, Flair, who is a known Michigan fan and has also heavily supported Georgia in the past, has officially turned heel on the Bulldogs and pledged his allegiance to Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin. If Georgia can pull off the win in Athens on Saturday however, the ‘Nature Boy’ may be retreading his words.
