SEC reveals kickoff times, TV designations for rivalry week

The SEC has announced kickoff times and TV designations for rivalry week. Games will be taking place on Thursday, Nov. 23, Friday, Nov. 24 and Saturday, Nov. 25.
The weekend gets started with the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving Day. Ole Miss will travel to Starkville to face Mississippi State at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN.
Another SEC rivalry game will be played on Friday as Arkansas hosts Missouri. That matchup will begin at 4 p.m. and will be televised by CBS.
That leads into a busy slate of games on Saturday. Texas A&M and LSU get things started at Noon. The SEC West rivals will face off on ESPN. The Aggies will, of course, be without former head coach Jimbo Fisher, who was fired over the weekend. Elijah Robinson is serving as the interim head coach with Fisher now gone.
Another big game for that day is the Iron Bowl, with Alabama playing at Auburn at 3:30 p.m. on CBS. The Crimson Tide have had an excellent season and are still in the College Football Playoff discussion. Auburn is going through a bit of a rebuild under first-year head coach Hugh Freeze, but the Tigers are 6-4 and seem to always play Alabama tough, particularly at home.
There are also several SEC vs. ACC matchups taking place rivalry weekend, with at least three games taking place at night.
Florida will host Florida State at 7 p.m. on ESPN, Georgia Tech will host Georgia at 7:30 p.m. on ABC and South Carolina will host Clemson at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.
