SEC names Football Players of the Week after Week 11

The Southeastern Conference saw six more games played on Saturday, with several having notable results as the league really gets into November, in Week 11. Now, with that, the SEC Players of the Week have been announced for their respective performances this weekend.
Eight players in total were honored across the six respective categories for the SEC Players of the Week. Five programs were then represented from around the conference, who all of which picked up wins on Saturday.
Here were those named as the SEC Players of the Week after the action on November 8th:
Offensive
Diego Pavia had a career-best game in offensive yardage this weekend. No. 16 Vanderbilt needed just about every single one of them too to get a 45-38 overtime win over Auburn on Saturday evening.
Pavia posted 489 yards overall, a career-high of 377 in passing, while completing 75.8% of his throws, and another 112 in rushing, with three touchdowns throwing, including what ended as the game-winning one in overtime, and another score on the ground for the Commodores. That kind of output, especially in that kind of game against a Tigers’ defense that had been pretty stout all season, made him more than deserving as SEC Offensive Player of the Week.
Defensive
We had Co-SEC Defensive Players of the Week from Saturday, starting with an all-around game for Daveren Rayner in a 38-7 win for Kentucky over Florida. He did a little of everything for the Wildcats’ defense, posting five tackles in total, one being for loss, with an interception and a deflection that resulted in another pick as the unit totaled four turnovers forced, with three of those being interceptions by DJ Lagway, against the Gators.
Daymion Sanford was then the other honoree as Defensive Player of the Week, also doing a little of everything this weekend with five total tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble recovered by their defense. That helped No. 3 Texas A&M to a 38-17 win over No. 22 Missouri in CoMo.
Special Teams
Peyton Woodring had yet another perfect outing in the kicking game for the Bulldogs this weekend. He tied his season-best with seven made in total, with five extra points and a pair of field goals with one from 49 yards in the first quarter and one from 46 yards in the fourth, for a total of 11 points scored in the 41-21 road win for No. 5 Georgia against Mississippi State.
On the season, Woodring is now 12-13 (92.3%) on field goals and perfect on extra points with makes on all of the 35 attempts. That continues what’s currently a career-best season for him with UGA.

Offensive Line
Going back to that offensive outing for Vandy, Jordan White was part of that effort that saw their offense post a total of 544 yards of offense. He also graded very highly, not allowing any pressure, hits, or sacks on Pavia, to be named as SEC Co-Offensine Lineman of the Week.
He shared that with Parker Brailsford, who also did not allow a sack or a pressure in the 20-9 win for No. 4 Alabama over LSU on Saturday night. That helped result in 344 yards of total offense, most of which came from the passing attack, from the Crimson Tide.
Defensive Line
Going back to the Aggies’ defense as well, Cashius Howell also wreaked havoc in their 21-point win over Mizzou. He posted a do-it-all game too with a season-high of five tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble which also was recovered.
Howell is up to 21 total tackles, 11.5 of those being for loss, with a career-high of 10.5 sacks, three deflections, and now that forced fumble. That has him well on his way to a career-best season down in College Station.
Freshman
Cutter Boley was co-honored last week as SEC Freshman of the Week alongside Mississippi State QB Kamario Taylor. He now owns the title all to himself this week with his outing in that win at 38-7 over Florida on Saturday night.
Boley had one of the better passing games of his young career in Lexington as he was 18-23 (78.3%) for 168 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. That, paired with the effort by the defense for UK, was more than enough offensively to result in an all-time kind of win margin-wise for the Wildcats over the Gators.
