college football week 4 top 10 games

Texas A&M and Georgia both picked up signature top-25 college football road wins in Week 3, playing at Notre Dame and Tennessee, respectively. Meanwhile, Georgia Tech picked up a signature win over Clemson and is now ranked.

Three top-25 matchups are on the books in Week 4. On3 is breaking down the top 10 games of Week 4 with College Football Playoff implications across the board.

Florida at No. 4 Miami

Location: Miami Gardens
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC

While Florida at Miami is not a top-25 matchup, the storylines are aplenty. Billy Napier could be coaching for his job coming off of back-to-back losses. Florida quarterback DJ Lagway is coming off a five-interception performance. How will he respond? And Miami has looked great in wins over Notre Dame and USF. Does that hold against the Gators? The Hurricanes are a 9.5-point favorite on BetMGM.

No. 17 Texas Tech at No. 16 Utah

Location: Salt Lake
Time: Noon ET
Channel: FOX

Texas Tech at Utah could be an early preview of the Big 12 championship game. The Red Raiders have coasted through their nonconference slate and have remained mostly healthy with their portal-heavy roster. Utah is playing some of its best football in recent memory with New Mexico transfer quarterback Devon Dampier at the helm. Utah is currently a 3.5-point favorite on BetMGM.

No. 21 Michigan at Nebraska

Location: Lincoln
Time:
3:30 p.m. ET
Channel:
CBS

This should arguably be a top-25 matchup, but Nebraska was not ranked on Sunday’s AP poll, instead receiving nine votes. It will be a major test for Nebraska and Dylan Raiola, who will have a chance to prove what it can do in the Big Ten this season. For Michigan, Sherrone Moore will be sidelined as he finishes out his suspension. Bryce Underwood has looked the part of the nation’s No. 1 recruit to start the season; now he will have to take it on the road to open Big Ten play. Michigan is a 1.5-point favorite, per BetMGM.

No. 22 Auburn at No. 11 Oklahoma

Location: Norman
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC

Auburn and Oklahoma both look like new teams this fall, and that all starts with new quarterbacks. Oklahoma transfer Jackson Arnold is now with the Tigers, and he will make his return to Norman with the Week 4 matchup. Brent Venables added Washington State transfer John Mateer this offseason, and he’s looked like a Heisman Trophy-caliber player to this point. Oklahoma is a 5.5-point favorite.

Arkansas at Memphis

Location: Memphis
Time: Noon ET
Channel: ABC

Arkansas makes the short trip to face a Memphis team that has had success with Power Four opponents recently. The Tigers picked up wins over Florida State and West Virginia a year ago. Now they get Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl. The Razorbacks are a 6.5-point road favorite on BetMGM.

Tulane at No. 13 Ole Miss

Location: Oxford
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ESPN

Ole Miss will face one of its toughest tests to this point in the season with Tulane visiting Oxford. The Green Wave are off to a 3-0 start to this season, highlighted by wins over Duke and Northwestern. The Rebels are coming off a win over Arkansas in SEC play, where Ferris State transfer quarterback Trinidad Chambliss totaled three touchdowns. Ole Miss is a 12.5-point favorite per BetMGM.

South Carolina at No. 23 Missouri

Location: Columbia
Time: 7 p.m. ET
Channel: ESPN

Circled as one of the premier Week 4 games, South Carolina could be without starting quarterback LaNorris Sellers in the SEC road test. The star quarterback exited Saturday night’s loss to Vanderbilt with a concussion. Missouri is off to a 3-0 start and ranked in the top-25, led by Penn State transfer quarterback Beau Pribula. The Tigers are an 11.5-point favorite, per BetMGM.

No. 9 Illinois at No. 19 Indiana

Location: Bloomington
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Channel: NBC

The two darlings of the Big Ten from 2024 are off to hot starts in 2025. Illinois proved it was worth the College Football Playoff hype with a road win over Duke in Week 2. Indiana has started a perfect 3-0 in Curt Cignetti’s second season in Bloomington. Saturday will be a good early-season test to see which is more ready to truly make a CFP push.

Arizona State at Baylor

Location: Waco
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Channel: FOX

Two of the top quarterbacks in the Big 12 will be featured when Arizona State visits Waco. Sam Leavitt and Sawyer Robertson have both picked up early-season Heisman momentum. Arizona State is looking to recover after a Week 2 road loss at Mississippi State, while Baylor has bounced back after the Week 1 loss to Auburn. BetMGM has Baylor as a 1.5-point favorite.

Michigan State at No. 25 USC

Location: Los Angeles
Time: 11 p.m. ET
Channel: FOX

Late-night football in the Coliseum marks the first Big Ten home game for USC this season. The Trojans cracked the AP top 25 this week, after picking up a road win at Purdue. Michigan State is looking for its signature win under Jonathan Smith; the Spartans are 3-0 to open up the season.
