college football top 10 games to watch week 14

Rivalry Week is upon college football. Week 14 of the college football season is filled with top-25 matchups and more chaos is guaranteed.

At least 20 games across FBS in the final week of the regular season will have College Football Playoff implications. Here are the top 10 games of Week 15 of the college football schedule:

No. 1 Ohio State at No. 15 Michigan

Location: Ann Arbor
Time: Noon
Channel: FOX

For four years running, Michigan has beaten Ohio State. The Buckeyes went on to win a national title last year after losing The Game. This year, they enter as the No. 1 team in the nation, touting an 11-0 record. Michigan enters winners of five straight with a 9-2 record. A win over Ohio State would probably put the Wolverines in the College Football Playoff field. They’re led by true freshman five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood.

No. 3 Texas A&M at No. 16 Texas

Location: Austin
Time: Friday, 7:30 p.m.ET
Channel: ABC

The Aggies travel to Austin in the second meeting since the rivalry was renewed in 2024. Texas escaped with a 17-7 win a year ago. This time, Texas A&M enters with a 10-0 record and is ranked No. 3 in the nation in Year 2 under Mike Elko. For the Longhorns to have any chance of making the 12-team College Football Playoff, they’ll have to pick up a win over undefeated Texas A&M on Black Friday. A&M is coming off a 48–0 win over Samford, completing its first undefeated home season since 1999. Arch Manning had six total touchdowns in a win over Arkansas.

No. 12 Vanderbilt at No. 18 Tennessee

Location: Knoxville
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC

Vanderbilt is 9-2 and on the cusp of making school history. A win over Tennessee on Saturday would put the Commodores at 10-2 and with a strong resume to make the College Football Playoff. Quarterback Diego Pavia has emerged as a Heisman Trophy frontrunner, with 3,585 total yards of offense. But Vanderbilt will have to go to Knoxville and knock off the Vols to be in CFP contention.

No. 24 Georgia Tech vs. No. 4 Georgia

Location: Atlanta
Time: Friday, 3:30 p.m.ET
Channel: ABC

Georgia leads the all-time series 72–39–5 and has won each of the last four meetings. Last year, the Bulldogs rallied to beat Georgia Tech 44-42 in eight overtimes. This yea,r the Bulldogs are on track to make the CFP with a win over the Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech fell to Pitt 42–28, dropping to 9–2 and taking a hit in its ACC title hopes.

No. 6 Ole Miss at Mississippi State

Location: Starkville
Time: Friday, Noon ET
Channel: ABC

Lane Kiffin watch continues as Florida and LSU pursue the Ole Miss head coach. Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter released a statement Friday afternoon after the meeting with Kiffin. The biggest piece of news was that Carter stated Kiffin would have an announcement on his future the day after the Egg Bowl. A win over Mississippi State would seal a College Football Playoff berth for Ole Miss, the first in program history.

No. 5 Oregon at Washington

Location: Seattle
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Channel: CBS

Oregon just moved back into the top five of the AP Top 25 poll after a double-digit win over USC on Saturday. The Ducks will look to close out the regular season with a trip to Seattle, against a Washington team that is 8-3 and 5-3 in the Big Ten. Washington leads the series 63–49–5. A win over the Huskies would punch Oregon’s College Football Playoff ticket.

No. 10 Alabama at Auburn

Location: Auburn
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC

Alabama is 9-2 and needs an Iron Bowl win to remain in contention for a College Football Playoff bid. Upset-minded Auburn is now 1-1 with interim head coach D.J. Durkin and welcomes the Tide into Jordan-Hare Stadium. Alabama leads the Iron Bowl series 51-37-1 and has won five consecutive matchups. A loss to Auburn would knock Alabama out of CFP contention for the second consecutive year under Kalen DeBoer.

No. 13 Miami at No. 24 Pitt

Location: Pittsburgh
Time: Noon ET
Channel: ABC

Pitt is 8–3 and just coming off a win over No. 16 Georgia Tech. Miami can keep its ACC title game hopes alive with a win in Pittsburgh, but it will still need some help. The most likely scenario involves a Virginia loss to Virginia Tech and a loss from either Duke or North Carolina. The Panthers can play for a league title with a win against Miami and a loss from either Virginia or SMU.

LSU at No. 8 Oklahoma

Location: Norman
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC

The math is simple for Oklahoma: Pick up a win over LSU in Norman and the Sooners are likely headed to the College Football Playoff. Brent Venables’ team has picked up road wins at Tennessee and Alabama late in the season to be positioned for a CFP berth. LSU is 7-4 and winners of two straight.

Arizona at Arizona State

Location: Tempe
Time: Friday, 9 p.m. ET
Channel: FOX

Arizona is showing progress in Year 2 under Brent Brennan with a shot at a nine-win season heading into the final week of the regular season at Arizona State. The Sun Devils are 8-3 and still in contention for a Big 12 title game. Provided it defeats Arizona in the Territorial Cup, Arizona State would get in with a UCF upset of BYU or a West Virginia upset of Texas Tech and a Kansas upset of Utah.
